Having tried different synthetic, colmated and technical closures I observed that the best preservation of organoleptic characteristics was delivered by the SupremeCorq X2.

If over 50% of consumers don’t feel concerned by the closure on a bottle of wine, close to 40% could purchase wine more if the closure was a Supreme Corq, compared to only close to 20% who would purchase wine more with a co-extruded closure. It is today possible to measure the influence of storage conditions on wine preservation. In effect, if the preservation of wine depends of several parameters, storage conditions are often not fully controlled by the producer/bottler. If the ideal position for a bottle is lying at 15°C, a standing upright storage at a high temperature can be problematic.
